Bluechip Genetics On-Line Bull Auction |

Bluechip first on line bull auction has been put to bed with 10 bulls being sold. Bluechip will be running two on-line auctions a per year with the next one being in April, it will run for a one week period only. New bulls will be loadd over the next 3 to 4 weeks. December 2010 classification peaks at EX93 |

Bluechip classified yesterday for eight EX (three were new, five were upgrades and the peak score was EX93). It had 9 VG heifers; 1 89-point (Max) second calver and 20 first-calved heifers averaged over 84 points. The EX93-point fourth calver was Fairvale Lee Josie (a maternal sister to Leader Josie, the 2006 IDW Grand Champion Holstein). Lee Josie has a Damion daughter selling in the Blue Ribbon sale on MAY 9, 2010. |

Melbourne Royal 2010 - Side-on portraits and results |

Bluechip was named most successful exhibitor at the recent Melbourne Royal/Victorian Holstein State Show under Canadian judge Norm McNaughton. Bluechip contributed to a field of 137 Holsteins with a team of 14 animals, which were shown in the youth and open show. It won 11 champions and 51 ribbons, in an encouraging lead-in to its Blue Ribbon II sale on May 9, 2011. Side-on photographs and their relevance to sale lots are now loaded. |
